ARRANGE REPAIR
Apple’s iPhone 14+ (AKA iPhone 14 Plus) was released in Autumn 2022. It features a 6.7″ Super Retina XDR OLED screen (XDR standing for “eXtreme Dynamic Range”).
Everyone likes theirs until the screen breaks and they find out what Apple charges for an official OLED screen replacement! (Spoiler; it’s not cheap).
Unofficial compatible “copy” screens- based on the older LCD technology rather than OLED- exist and many independent stores use these to deliver cheaper repairs. Sounds good, but even the best “copies” won’t come close to the quality of the original OLED, and others can be very poor. (Think substandard resolution, contrast, colour or even case fit.)
That’s where we come in. We offer a third option that most other places don’t- glass replacement.
With many “broken” screens, only the surface glass is cracked and the OLED screen itself is okay.
This means that it’s possible in theory to replace the surface glass- which includes the touch-sensitive digitizer- while keeping the original OLED.
In practice, this is a lot more complicated than it sounds, which is why most phone repair shops don’t offer it and stick with “screen swap” replacements.
But if you want to keep your iPhone 14 Plus’s original OLED quality and do so at a much lower price than a full screen replacement, glass repair/replacement is something you really ought to consider.
(Glass replacement is only suitable for cases where the underlying phone screen is in working order; please see the list of questions for more details).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I know if my iPhone 14 Plus is suitable for glass replacement?
Glass replacement is possible where only the surface glass is broken, and the underlying OLED screen itself is in working order. You can tell if this is the case by looking at your screen and seeing if it looks otherwise normal beneath the crack- no blobs, stripes, light or dark spots, etc.
(It doesn’t normally matter if the touch is damaged; that’s a part of the surface glass on the iPhone 14 Plus, and will be replaced alongside it).
